30 Day Raw Challenge Update

Well, this is day 6 of my 30 days at high raw of 100%.

I’m feeling great and my digestion is getting better too. Yesterday I was really tired. That was a combination of lack of sleep and detoxing I’ve been enjoying a wide array of raw dishes and trying new recipies each day.

I can’t wait to test what’s in the dehydrator as I plan my week ahead. There are so many great dishes to make. If you have one you’d like to submit, I will post it on RawMa’s Blog

Raw Food Coach

I am so excited this morning. I was lucky enough to attend a wonderful Raw Business Class last night. I learned some really great things to help me in my business. Shout out to Karen. You Rock!

This morning, although I am excited about my future in the Business of Raw, my body feels very tired, so off I go to create a wonderful green drink. I’ll be blending:

Spinach
lemon
banana
water
to create a powerful burst of energy for myself. My cells will thank me in about 20 minutes!

Have a fabulous RAW day!

Coconuts & Coconut Oil Superfood Rage

A co-worker recently mentioned that they wanted to learn more about the benefits of Coconuts. That got me thinking. I’d bet the general public doesn’t know the wonderful things a coconut can do for them.

Here are just a few of their many benefits. Coconuts can:

Enhance thyroid function
Lower cholesterol
Accelerate weight loss
Balance your hormones
Stabalize moods
Boost overall energy
Super hydrate you

Coconut Water has been found to be 10 times more hydrating than water, tastes great in smoothies, or drinking alone and can be used on your face as refreshing tonic like they do in the tropics.

Our skin is made up of connective tissues. These tissues give our skin strength and elasticity. When we are young and healthy the skin is smooth, elastic and supple. As we age, we all know what happens to the outer appearance of our skin. Coconut oil can add many benefits to aging skin.

Unrefined “Virgin” Coconut Oil applied directly to the skin will soften and enhance your natural beauty. It can be used all over your body as a softener and the added benefit will be your skin “drinking” it up to support your system and fend off free radicals. Coconut oil will not only bring temporary relief to the skin, but it will aid in healing and repairing. It will have lasting benefits, unlike most lotions. It can help bring back a youthful appearance. The coconut oil will aid in removing the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother. The skin will become more evenly textured with a healthy “shine”.

It will help to reduce chronic skin inflammation within days and be soothing and healing to wounds, blood blisters, rashes, etc. It is an excellent ingredient to use in healing salves and ointments.

I use it for everything. I put it in my smoothies, use it on my body especially around my eyes to reduce the “wrinkle effect” and on my hair/nails/feet. It’s an over all great skin smoother.

Add it to your dogs food. My dog LOVES it.

Drink it, eat it, slather it! You’ll be glad you did.

Morning Energy

Ok, I fell off the Raw wagon for about two days and I feel terrible, so I woke up and promptly made a Raw Energy Smoothie.
Water/honey,hemp seeds, psyllium, coconut oil, maca and 1 banana.
Honestly, I drank it about 30 minutes ago and I feel better already.

Let me know what you whip up this morning.
